What is free and what costs
The desktop client for Windows and Linux and the server are free for as long as you like, with no nagging reminders. The Android and iPhone apps are paid apps. On Windows everything available today is free, but some upcoming features in the program itself may require a license. Buy it now and those features are included when they arrive, at today's price. Any future services with a running cost, such as cloud storage or AI, are not part of the license. Every purchase goes directly toward developing new features.
Pricing
One-time purchase per platform*. No subscription.
The price is deliberately low right now, around €5 per platform, and increases as new features are added, so buy early and pay less. The current price is shown in each store. No artificial sales or discount campaigns.
* Each purchase applies to one platform (e.g. Windows, Android).
How to buy
Buy directly from the app store on your platform:
The mobile apps are companions to a Jodoc server, so you need one running somewhere: your own hardware, or a machine you rent. The desktop client works on its own, with no server involved.
Good to know
Jodoc is under active development. We cannot promise exactly which features will come or when, because software development is hard to predict. What we do promise is that the license you buy also covers the paid features added to the program later, at no extra cost.
