File won't start?

A manually downloaded AppImage must be made executable before it can start. This applies to the first download and when you replace it with a newer file.

Right-click the file → Properties → Permissions → allow executing as a program. Then start the file. Menu names vary between Linux desktops.

Or in a terminal, in the folder where the file is:

chmod u+x Jodoc.AppImage

Updates installed from inside the app need no extra step.
